All
too often, our fear of being imperfect and of how others might judge us negatively,
keeps us from being who we really are. Every human being has positive and
negative qualities. This is merely an aspect of the human condition, and is in
no way, grounds for self-condemnation or denial of self and ones magnificence.
To measure up, to the all too common definition of "perfection",
which is to be flawless, is impossible and leads to a negative self-perception.
Instead, be your best given the circumstances. Enjoy and develop your strong
qualities, catch your weak ones, and filter them out of yourself by choosing to
let that part of you go. Be who you really are, be a person you respect and
admire, and be happy.
